Philippines : Escabeche



Escabeche Ingredients :





  • fish

  • cooking oil

  • bell pepper

  • carrots

  • ginger

  • garlic

  • onion

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 1 cup water

  • salt & pepper

  • sugar

  • vinegar

  • soy sauce




Escabeche Cooking Instructions:




  • Fried the fish

  • On other pan saute garlic, onion, bell pepper, carrots and ginger

  • Add water, vinegar and soy sauce and let it boil

  • Add flour mixed in water and let it boil again until it thickens

  • Add salt, pepper and sugar to taste

  • Finally add the fried fish and cover it for 5 mins
